So loosely based on another post.

Males normally get advice from the forumites to look at other male profiles especially those that are deemed more successful.

So for all others do you look at profiles of people in the same “group” as you?

Do you couples look at other couples profiles etc?

And, do us men actually look at other profiles of men to gain some stealth advice?

Have you ever seen your profile replicated word for word or nearly by someone else?

I think that's because a man will post multiple cock shots, have a sparse profile and then genuinely be confused as to why women aren't interested - seeing how other men do it might help them.

I don't know, I don't recommend that because I hate seeing a clone of a profile.

No, I don't at another woman's profile and compare/try and get tips/tweak mine based on hers.

I've had people copy chunks of my bio before (when it was there). Women who've taken very similar photos to mine - too similar to just be random. And I don't mind. The bio thing did irritate me somewhat but then I just said fuck it. They're not me.

See that’s interesting as there are many female profiles on here that have no photos or close up of their vagina or penetration, as equally little profile if any and demands to meet before you message them.

We all have a choice who we message but it seems there’s similarities in profiles

I've had my entire bio copied and pasted by 3 other users including someone who used to post regularly on the forums.

I wasn't flattered because it was lazy and they also attached some of my pics to abusive messages they sent to women.

I've never looked at other profiles for inspiration because I prefer to be myself and stand on my own merits.

Some people have been kind enough to advise others to look at my profile for inspiration in regard to pics etc but strangely that has never been reflected in the number of fabs I get on those pics.

I rarely if ever get double figures on any new pic so I'm not really sure why others think they are worth copying.

I only ever have with a couples profile, just to get ideas. Not really on my single one though

We wouldn't be influenced by any couples profiles, our profile is specific to us.

I sometimes see some others photos and think it looks great, I try and it doesn't for me.

However I don't really look at others for tips or hints. I'm just me and I probably don't care about how I come across on here enough to work that hard!

I know I'm not a guy but when we originally joined we did look at other couples profiles and decided how we wanted ours to look, we took inspiration from some with the type of pics I like.

I'd encourage people to look at others I mean how can you stand out if you have no idea of the competition.

We don't because we've never felt the need. If we were wondering how to write a decent profile we would though

My profile is pretty distinctive and if anyone mined it for ideas, they'd soon get rumbled.

I like reading the blurb of other Tgirl's profiles, as I find so many are wonderfully, and often weirdly, creative

"

"

A few years back both I and another forum regular called Steve who alleged to reside in Brighton but actually lived nearer to Hove (joint third in the Fab Forum Awards sexiest male circa 2014ish I'll have you know..... ) had out profiles copied word for word by two single males.

Which was actually quite entertaining given we both at the time had mentions of seeking couples for bi threesomes and the two guys in question were straight, comments that we're both over 6ft and slim and the profile thief's were visibly about 5ft 6" in their pics and obviously 'rounder' and that we also listed other personal details like locations, ages and hair styles - none of which matched the phitis they were using.

Some people are lazy. They think a cut and paste job will replicate levels of success.

But if what you have on your profile doesn't actually match who you are in real life it's pretty obvious both in messages and also if you ever actually meet someone IRL.

Both went UNLOS soon after being outed in the forums.....

"So for all others do you look at profiles of people in the same “group” as you?"

Yes, for a multitude of benign reasons. Sometimes as part of some forum game or challenge...

"And, do us men actually look at other profiles of men to gain some stealth advice?"

I occasionally look at profiles of men for the same reasons mentioned above ^ but never to glean any "stealth advice". My profile is home-grown and self-penned, my box of tricks and delights, warts and imperfections included. It's my necromancy.

When I joined as a single I looked at other singles profiles to see what type of pics were getting used. I didn’t want to be graphic so I quickly scrolled past dick pics.

We’ve had quite a few people ask to copy a pic we’ve taken, which we’ve taken to be a compliment. Wouldn’t be so impressed if they copied our profile as they should be personal.

At the moment our profile is a living document, we add to it as we find out new things

just somewhere around here

Our profile is our profile, we don't want to be anyone else so why copy them. We like to say it how it is and if people don't like it they can skip us.
