"When was the last time you had a nosebleed? I’m sitting here with one right now, I think stress induced but I got it on the walk home and had no tissues! It was a disaster! Poor man on the street thought I’d been attacked as I had blood all over my face and burbling out my mouth and both hands dripping! Classy lady! I’m really hungry but can’t eat till it stops. Damn it. ![]() A few weeks ago, several days running. Cotton wool soaked in Hot water and massage downwards on the nostril that’s bleeding. Once the clot comes down hopefully it will stop X

"Last week. It was the first one in three months. Last year I had to have my nostril cauterised because I had frequent nosebleeds." Yeah I’ve always had them due to air pressure changes and GP suggested cauterising (as a child) until we explained my fun fact - blood comes out my eyes too when I have a nosebleed as I have loose tear ducts. ![]()

"A suffers with them regularly. Gets too hot, nose bleed. Too stressed, nosebleed. End of a cough or cold, nosebleed. They seem to come in waves, so one will trigger a wave of two weeks of daily ones. The tampon advice is good, as that's essentially what they do at A and E (which I've been to many times for a nosebleed). Also doctors can prescribe a cream called naseptin too if appropriate. Ice on the bridge of the nose helps too. But sadly, they suck and theres not really much you can do about them ![]() Thank you x

I still get nosebleeds every time I have a cold though.
