When was the last time you had a nosebleed?

I’m sitting here with one right now, I think stress induced but I got it on the walk home and had no tissues! It was a disaster! Poor man on the street thought I’d been attacked as I had blood all over my face and burbling out my mouth and both hands dripping! Classy lady!

I’m really hungry but can’t eat till it stops. Damn it.

Stuff a tampon up there so you can chow down on your dinner in peace. Just try not to get the string caught in your teeth

Ice never had a nose bleed even when I've been hit in the face. My son used to get horrendous ones bless him but grew out of them as an adult

A few weeks ago, several days running.

Cotton wool soaked in Hot water and massage downwards on the nostril that’s bleeding.

Once the clot comes down hopefully it will stop

Last week. It was the first one in three months.

Last year I had to have my nostril cauterised because I had frequent nosebleeds.

Slice off your nose. No nose, no nose bleed.

Yeah I’ve always had them due to air pressure changes and GP suggested cauterising (as a child) until we explained my fun fact - blood comes out my eyes too when I have a nosebleed as I have loose tear ducts. . I really am like a horror movie!

Apparently cauterising would put too much pressure on my eyes….

A suffers with them regularly. Gets too hot, nose bleed. Too stressed, nosebleed. End of a cough or cold, nosebleed. They seem to come in waves, so one will trigger a wave of two weeks of daily ones.

The tampon advice is good, as that's essentially what they do at A and E (which I've been to many times for a nosebleed).

Also doctors can prescribe a cream called naseptin too if appropriate. Ice on the bridge of the nose helps too.

But sadly, they suck and theres not really much you can do about them

Hope it stops soon OP

Manchester

I had an order of 'special stuff' from Hilary Briss

It's very moreish

Only when the nosebleeds started did I realise I was addicted to the 'special stuff'

Mayor Royston was of little help

"But the nosebleeds Hilary...the NOSEBLEEDS...!"

Not for a while but I used to get them constantly. Blood coming out both nostrils and my mouth.

Few weeks ago when my bestie accidentally smashed me in the face when she enthusiastically threw her hands in the air to dance and I was stood behind her. Twat.

When I met up with one of my ex-girlfriends after a few years she told me a marvellous story about having a massive nosebleed while she was in the middle of riding a new fuck buddy for the first time. Blood everywhere.

I have them occasionally, so do my husband and kids. Probably had one a few months back.

The first time my husband ever went down on me he had a nosebleed. We'd only been together a day. We had to jump in the shower together

Ooh I had the blood coming out my eyes thing too as a teenager, had a mega nosebleed after which my GP sent me for a cauterisation.

I still get nosebleeds every time I have a cold though.
