Heartbreaking story on the local news tonight.

A newborn baby girl was found dead in a bin in a pub.

It absolutely breaks my heart for the little one but also for the mum who has felt this was her only option.

What is this world becoming????

Oh gosh i can't even imagine her life to have made that choice, heartbreaking

Wasn't there another one last week found in a carrier bag, just one hour old

this is one of the reasons why I can’t face the news anymore. After becoming a parent, the plethora of stories about children breaks my heart. I can scarcely imagine what kind of place someone must be in to abandon their own child.

Delightful Bliss

She was confirmed as stillborn, I feel for the mum, all future hopes dashed in a second, hope she is ok

I don't watch the news because things like this make me cry instantly, like reading that.

Heartbreaking isn't even the word. There just isn't the words.

BRIDPORT

Yes, heard it on the wireless earlier this evening, police and another agency are urging the woman to come forward, they are not looking to pursue any criminality but fear she may need medical attention.

I saw an article the other day that says she went to stay with a foster family and has therefore left hospital.

That's awful.

I consider myself, quite maternal. Losing, removing or leaving a baby is absolutely heartbreaking to me. I would not wish it upon anyone at all and I can't imagine the mental trauma that those affected will be going through and will live with them forever.

The police have done a press conference asking for the mum to come forward. I really hope she does and gets the emotional support she will desperately need.
