The prices of hotel rooms in London have exploded! Evening a travelodge is £100+. There is one in Canary Wharf that is usually £69 but it is a real eye-opener!

They really have! I never come home if I go to London but I’ve started getting the train back recently as the prices are ridiculous.

And I doubt they will ever come back down. You will just has to find a room mate, hint hint.
