Help! Do you use BT Vision?

A quick bit of help please from anyone reading this.

Do you have a TV service supplied by BT. If you do, can you watch all of the program that is on the BBC Iplayer faciiity, via the TV, not via your computer?

The reason I ask is my elderly Mum has this facility but her Iplayer is failing after about 14 minutes on any program on the Iplayer, though it works fine for ITV's version.

The BT Vision people initially told her the problem is with the BBC, however IPlayer is working fine via my computer, and they have now told her that it is a national problem that BT are working to fix via their engineers.

Therefore any Fabbers that use BT Vision for their telly and wouldn't mind confirming that either they also have an IPlayer problem or that it's working fine, if it's the latter I'll then have to phone them up on my Mum's behalf.

Thanks in advance for anyone responding to this.

Mark

This is a long shot... We have sky and the bbc Iplayer on that downloads the program you select to watch. You can watch while it's downloading but obviously can't go past the point it's downloaded to. If its downloading slowly or is a large file, or you skip through part and you reach that point it will just cut out and return to sky.

Assuming bt vision works the same or similar way, the fact that your mums Iplayer cuts out at the same point each time makes me wonder if the box is just reaching the (current) end of the downloaded file.

Hopefully the issue is as simple as that, just give the box time to download more of the programme.

I watch the iplayer on the wii and certain programmes like top gear won't play, a message comes up saying there is a problem to go back and try again
