OP - actually, and to be relatively serious for one moment, you have taken on a conundrum head-on for which you deserve some respect AND... you have made me realise I have a conundrum myself which has puzzled me for many years.

My orientation was set in stone when I was 15 (I won't bore you all with how, as it is a saga of Norse proportions, but it involves the very first showing of The Naked Civil Servant and a scaffolder called Frank...), and I have been happily straight ever since. I am 100% comfortable with anyone else's sexuality and have, so far, found nothing which makes me feel 'threatened'. In short, I don't feel that I am either latent or closet, in any way, about anything.

But.. and here's the thing: It has often been observed about me that I am MUCH happier in the social company of women than I ever have been with men. I have never been the 'propping up the bar with me mates' type of bloke, but sit me round a table with half a dozen women and I am perfectly happy. Why..??? To ME, it is perfectly natural. I am not an effeminate bloke, and yet given the choice between going to the pub with the guys, or down the wine bar with the girls, I'd pick the girls every time!!

So, sort the lumps out of that one...?????
