If it will have no impact on my family, then I keep it to myself. Ailsa has enough shit to contend with already and I’m not really close enough to anyone else.

Either my 2 friends I chat to every day, or my other mate who I can tell anything.

Depends what it is really.

Usually it's the doctor of late, giving bad health news.. So I usually have a philosophical chat with them about it, albeit brief.

It depends what it's about, I did have someone special I shared everything with; but sadly thats no longer the case. In future I'll just have to get on with things alone.

Myself to begin with, then to help me make sense with whatever I'm contending with, depending on what it is, I will talk to one of a couple of people.

the abyss

It depends on the news really. If it's something that won't affect anyone else then I just deal with it myself. If it's something that I will have to share with others then I usually try and just tell the necessary people straight away to get it over with. I can deal with my own emotions, having to upset others with the bad news is harder to me

I just deal with it myself, I was brought up not to burden others with my problems and be stoic. It works very well for me.
