I think it was just a Mini Disk. Ailsa had one of those players for a while, but we never really used it.

Yep think you’re right. Yeah my DJ housemate at the time used them endlessly for about six months and then gave up!

I miss the deutschmark.

Was the same size as a UK old 5p, so if you could get your hands on those uiu could use them in German vending machine, including the cigarette machines.

One of my cars has a FM/AM radio cassette player...

Actually, in my lounge I still have a hifi system with separate turntable, amp, tuner, two cassette decks.
