Thank you, thank you, thank you. I've been wracking my brain the last week about him. An old colleague used to listen to him 20 odd years ago in the lab, and I wanted to have a relisten and I couldn't remember the name. Now I've seen it yay thank you. Small win of the day

There's a song I clearly remember, so I'm going to have to listen a lot to find it, unless I can narrow it down because I can vaguely remember the CD cover. There are worse ways to spend a Saturday afternoon

I have a recollection that it was a darkish blue and black, it had a moody feel to it. Totally wracking my brain now, was a while ago.

Fair, but trying to remember a CD cover belonging to a team worker from over 20 years ago wasn't the easiest of tasks.

Everybody bangs on about A Love Supreme, and rightly so. Crescent is the album I absolutely adore though. Wise One and Lonnie’s Lament are soooo beautiful .

Miles is amazing. I like In a Silent Way onwards in particular, though it gets a bit bonkers. His set at the Isle of Wight Festival 1970 is mad, but brilliant (it’s on YT).

An artist from before my time worthy of the hype - Nick Drake
