To traveling to a sexy fabber, having lots of sex and hanging out together, staying the Saturday night, etc.

Would you book days off work afterwards to claim your weekend back and have a well earned rest or just go back to work as normal?

If my weekend went like that, I'd be on a high - I'd rather keep days off work such as A/L for more naughty fun - can't beat having a marvellous naughty time when you'd be otherwise working!

That sounds like a pretty fantastic weekend tand something I have done

I’d just go back to work on the Monday with a huge smile on my face

Do you mind if I ask why?

I'm aware some people do this and I'm curious as to why.

It all depends on how far I've travelled... for example if I was going to Liverpool the travelling is a bit of an arse ... so I'd want say Friday off to travel then more refreshed Saturday. .

That's understandable, maybe I should have specified a travel time or asked in my OP if it would make a difference.

I would look at it as losing a weekend but gaining a weak end.

Seriously though, I would probably save my leave for another day and take a day off when I really needed it. That day off would be going for walks, mindfulness, ambling around a cheese fair and vintage curios market and just enjoying some coffee and cake.

I think your question is perfect, I like to start my weekend refreshed ... sitting on a train for hours isn't exactly conducive for that

I generally book the Monday off but not really to "claim the weekend back". Just do the usual stuff like go to he gym, do the food shopping, do meal prep etc. and I'd make sure the cleaning was done before I set off to meet them

I like to do it when we go away too, it's nice coming back to a clean organised house.

I'm with Nero on this.

Maybe take the Monday off and visit some Vintage/Antique shops and visit a bistro for a light lunch on the Monday.

It depends on how much energy was expended over the weekend to re charge on the Monday.
