I was very excited to arrive home today. I got home from a night away to find the my tomatoe plants and chillies that I planted over the weekend have already sprouted through the soil.

Oh I can't wait to get some more seeds and grow a little crop this year.

Any other green fingered friend's about?

My parents bought me a mini greenhouse, compost and seed trays for my birthday last month so I can get started on my herbs and plants for my pots. I've also taken delivery of two mushroom growing kits, just want the weather to settle down a bit more before starting my pottering.

Well I thought I would start them early as last summer was rubbish, so I'm hoping to catch the early summer sun.

In Your Bush

Cress is very easy, especially round someone else's house. Tip a cup of water over the front room carpet, sprinkle some seed and it will sprout in no time.
