My boudoir - S Wales

In my early twenties I pulled a sicky, said I had the shits. I was just tired.

Then when I went back to work, I actually had the shits.

That was the last time I pulled a sicky.

I stayed in work recently with pneumonia and stacked my car on the way in and still stayed in all day, and drove it round the community with bits hanging off it.

It’s not big and it’s not clever but you do what you’ve got to to survive in this economy

I do know someone who did this though for their already dead nan. Although they felt absolutely terrible afterwards, they received a lovely bunch of flowers from their work
