What do you do when

You are at a club, and you are approached by somebody you're not into?

Whats the decorum? How do people normally show you that they intend to smash the granny out off you?

If somebody asks to sit with you, and you say yes, is that an indicator that you are all down to have sexy time?

Whats the rules??

What if you are looking to meet just one person/couple and you want to have a gander around first to see what these your fancy?

Carlisle usually

Say no thank you.

Usually people come and have a chat then ask if we'd like to go upstairs (or wherever the rooms are)

Me saying someone yes you can sit with us is me saying I'm open to chatting. It does not mean anything more.

You could try telling the people you're slightly interested in that you're just going to go see if those other people are more exciting before you settle for them. But I don't think I'd recommend it

It’s etiquette to leap from your stool and run screaming “pervert!”

So don't say "you're an 8, but I'm looking for a 10"

I'd imply no such thing, I havnt been to a club yet so I was curious about the workings.

surrounded by twinkly lights

Generally most will say, would you like to go to a playroom, jacuzzi etc, that's the time to say "no thank you" if you are not interested. Clubs are definitely not the place to be hesitant in your thoughts, as mixed messages can lead to sticky situations, most clubs have superb staff and will intervene when needed

couple, us we him her.

I think they should hand out small paddles on the entry to the club with a green paddle with a thumbs up

A red thumbs down.

And maybe an amber one with a hand palm flat down moving up and down slightly in a "maybe" gesture.

Probably the best course of action is tactful replues. If someone asks to sit with you and you don't want them to maybe "sorry we were just about to go and (insert random activity here)" is better than a straight "no".

And you slap them on the ass with the green paddle and boink them in the head going "waaaah waaaaah waaaaaaaah" with the red?

I just say 'thank you but I feel like just chatting for now'

You can be assertive without being rude
