As January comes to an end

I have always found January the longest month, fed up of the dark mornings and evenings, back to work after Christmas, and the wet and windy weather.

However, what have you achieved that’s positive for January?

I have not yet brought a “frothy coffee” this month. I used to get about 2 or 3 a day and stopped this month, whilst Starbucks profits may dip my bank balance is happier!!

Also managed the motivation to start cycling again

Cheeseville, Somerset

I can count on one hand the number of times I've had the central heating on.

Winning at life.

Still managing to wear a smile most of the time despite all the shitty January and shitty work stuff.

West Yorkshire

I've got myself 'out there' and have had three social meets this month! It's not much but it feels big for me after eighteen months of being poorly and hibernating and avoiding people.

Deepest darkest Peru

I’ve actually enjoyed January. Caught up and spent times with friends, attended two social events and had time with family

I also joined a beginners running club first week of January which I’m really enjoying

It’s all about building my endurance rather than pace for me
