How do you get that line through subject text that shows message is deleted

If a message you have sent is deleted then you will see it with the line through. Doesn’t meant hasn’t been read, send then read then deleted shows the same as send then deleted (ie not read).

my friend and i are sending messages back and forth deleting but can't get the line through.

Is it because I'm a site supporter and that keeps the message thread?

If you delete the msgs, then one of you msgs the other again the whole previous thread chat comes back despite being deleted, if thats what you mean?

Lol, I just noticed it on one of mine, and people say delete if not interested but that doesn't seem to stop them messaging me again

No it won’t, just means the message thread to that point is removed from the deleters in-box (remains in the other persons box ujtil they delete). Doesn’t mean messages can’t be sent subsequently, only way to do that is to block the other person

There is no way a receiver of a message can tell if it’s been read or not. A read and then deleted message shows the same as a not read and deleted message. There is no history available.

I think if you check on sent items it will say, deleted and unread. I’m sure I’ve seen this before, don’t quote me
