I know the allure.

A few evenigs ago, I heard an executive jet leaving Biggin Hill saying they were going to Turks and Caicos. In addition to following it out into the Atlantic for a couple of hours, I took a satellite view of the islads to look at where the airport(s) might be.

That led to looking at roads, houses, vegetatio, beaches, ferries etc. and getting the feel of the place.

Who needs telly?

Incidentally, been interested in Tristan da Cunha since the temporary evacuation in the 1950s.
