I like both but being a northerner I prefer Rugby League to watch live.

There's something about big burly men running into each other! Phwoar!

Let me think about this one......big fit men running about in shorts?

Holy hell yes! I prefer league to watch live but as both involve big fit men running about in shorts I'm not really that bothered.

Name your team then Ruggers, I had a few games with Derby 3rd XV after I left school, but I had an old knee injury so part time pub football and village cricket were the best I could manage

West Wales and Cardiff

Union.

Used to hate League when all the best Welsh players went up there, but do like it a lot. Got a ticket for the Eng v Oz world cup game in Cardiff in Oct.

I mentioned this in another forum today, but Saturday's game is, I think, the 82nd Wales international I've been to.

I'm not as mad on it as I once was, but I'm already shaking like a sh*tting dog with nerves. The idea of losing to England and them getting the GS is unbearable.

3rd person - hope you enjoy the day. If you don't know Cardiff and want any advice on pubs etc for international day, let me know. It's hard to find a proper rugby pub with singing these days as they all blast music, but there are some decent spots.

Having played both id say union is easier to play. you can look like a world beater at union and only look average at league. you can be unfit and get through a full 80 of union where as league you wont last 20 mins.

From a viewing perspective i prefer league. far quicker and more skillful.

Swinton Lions first Sale second.
