"Hi all. My damn anxiety has reared its very ugly head again the last few days. Not really sure why, but may well be because of issues getting hold of my normal meds. I am trying to drown it in camomile tea and lavender, lol. But what i really want right now is a bath then a lovely sensual massage, followed by someone stroking my hair while i sleep. What helps you when youre feeling anxious? X " For me camomile tea,Melissa tea,hard workout in the gym. Also cold shower every morning really helps. | |||

"Techniques hold the wolves at bay - breathing techniques, meditation, etc. Exercise is good at calming it down over a longer period of time, although higher heart rate mimics some of the feelings and is challenging. Talking it out with someone you trust and being reassured helps I ignore it more often than I should, or wrest control as it tries to shut me down, and carry on through gritted teeth.
