I saw Poor Things last night. Didn't know what to expect but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I think the only thing that's waiting on coming out that I'm particularly interested in is the next Joker film.

Equaliser 3. I’ve got a voucher as a gift for Xmas which I need to use this year, I’m not sure what’s coming out, but I’ll get to use it one day, it has to be a worthwhile film though, so many are not cinema worthy for me.

I went to see a screening of Eyes Wide Shut just before Christmas. I’ve seen it so many times, but it gets better each time I watch it and it was a real treat to see it again at the cinema. Next film I want to see is Poor Things.

Muriel's Wedding!!??? A def. chick flick (in my opinion).

I went with one of my closest friends - she almost had my arm twisted up my back....

I'm surprised to say it was quite good & you got a bit of ABBA music in it! In it?...

Netflix has changed all that... what's the going price now at the flicks? Cheaper to do Netflix or whatevs!

I saw Poor Things on Sunday and it was excellent. It's dark and sexy and weird and funny and surreal and philosophical. I loved it.

The audience clapped at the end, which made it more weird, but I felt the awe in the room.

No plans for anything in the near future.

Saw 5 films this month already in theatre. Last was the Beekeeper. A B grade action film with ridiculously corny dialogues and scenes. I am not sure if they were doing it intentionally or not. I wasn't bored though.

Next film, haven't decided. Considering The Boys in the boat.

Also, Poor Things here. Extravagantly filthy with top (and over-the-top) performances from Willem Dafoe, Mark Ruffalo and especially Emma Stone.

So different from the usual formulaic superhero fodder and well worth seeing.

Pink Floyd - The Wall (Movie),

Sometime in the 1980s at Leicester Square.

Even that was more like a concert than a film.

Before that, probably 'A Clockwork Orange' in a local cinema in Bexleyheath.

Doubt if I went to a cinema more than about twenty times. Can remember about half a dozen.

Even less interest in watching films on TV. I don't have the required attention span. If I'm at someone's house and a film is on television, I'm unlikely to be gripped by it. I've never seen most of the films which get mentioned on forum threads. Seriously!

Some time last year I watched a DVD of 'The Holy Mountain' which a friend gave me. Luckily that was fairly short but, nevertheless, unusual.

Napoleon. It was … fine? Visually dense but not engaging at all, no questions were asked or answered and nor were any themes explored or played it. Watching it was like listening to a toddler who’s learnt they can say “and” and so they talking, linking dull non sequiturs as infinitum.

Maverick as I thought it would be more immersive in the Cinema.

I don’t go as much these days, as some in the audience don’t appear to know how to act respectfully whilst the film is on. How can you be checking your phone, talking loudly or eating really smelly food around other people.

Fuck that and it’s expensive

"The Guardians of the Galaxy finale.

I’d like to see Poor Things, but I’m rubbish at getting to the cinema.

Oooh I’m going to see that next week!

No spoilers please, I’ll probably not see it till next year.

Ahhh you poor thing. See what I did there?"

I did indeed.

I got persuaded to go and see Oppenheimer last year- my first trip to the cinema in well over a decade. glad i went, it was excellent on the big screen (and was a daytime showing, so half a dozen other people and no annoying cockwombles)

"Star Wars a new hope, 1976 at the cinema in Spalding."

Star Wars premiered on the 27th December 1977 at Leicester Square (in London).

So you were very lucky to see it a year before !

I remember seeing it at Chelmsford I think. We had an intermission with choc-ices and everything ! It was brilliant ! Film was ok, though I was cross it was the 4th film and kept worrying I'd missed the first three.

I won tickets to the premier but had no idea what I was going to see - I just remember the opening being mind blowing at the time especially in that cinema!

Last one I saw was The Night House. I don't go to the cinema often, usually only as part of a catch-up mate date. If Terrifier 3 gets a screening near me, I'll go.

The first release of Star Wars.

Soooo much chattering from the other cinema goers, it put me right off the cinema.

That’s crazy If you haven’t bothered with the more recent Star Wars films it’s best to keep it that way. They’re awful.

I really like Nolan films but thought this was overly long and part of the story I just couldn't care about at all.

Went to see "Zone of interest" last night, it was worthy but dull

I kept nodding off, maybe I missed the good bits?

Next up is "The end we start from"

- I love a bit of Jodie Comer

I saw “All of us strangers” the other day. It was pretty crap. I was expecting a masterpiece after all of the hype it’s received, but in reality it’s really cliché.

Oppenheimer, it was over long and dare I say a little boring at times…so should do well at the Oscar’s right?

Used to go to cinema on a regular basis but not been for ages

It was my last visit too, but I don’t agree with your criticism, I thought it was sensational.

The last Spiderman movie.

I did go a lot in the past to watch my marvel, but alas marvel is no longer for me.

My next visit looks delayed till 2025 as mission impossible pt2 has been delayed.

But saying that a new version of Roadhouse is coming so may well go see that.

Yes I remember those prices a right rip, but I paid to watch my marvel movies back in phase one and two.

then the monopolies commission told the oden to give away two of their cinemas in Manchester, so the odeon I did attend changed to Vue and prices start at 7.50, so the odeon was history.
