Lurpac spreadable. There's an advert that needs Trades Descriptions all over it.

"Lurpac spreadable, will rip your bread to fucking shreds" would be more apt.

They do do many variations of it now including soft and softest. And various size packs. What ised to be 500g is now 400g I think. Like so many other things you need a calculator with you to compare prices etc. I do use the soft or softest from time to time but to be honest I find it bland personally.

However “spreadable” isn’t.

And wtf is going on with “reduced salt”. Then lightest etc are they “reduced salt” or normal.

It’s confusing and it’s really not a cheap spread either.

But I do love it.

In fact “spreadable” is the enemy of untoasted bread.

Toast can handle lurpak spreadable, but FFS don’t try spreading it right onto normal bread. It’ll tear it apart.
