How’s your evening been?

Any highs, lows or interesting stories?

I went to meet two mates for a drink which was lovely, but I’m struggling to reconnect with a further mate after a period of limited contact (due to my depression) and that’s proving tough.

Hello

Firstly I hope you reconnect with your friend if that's what you want.

My evening has been ok. I spent my usual forty minutes talking to my dad, worked on a throw I'm making, started reading a book, listened to a short story by Oscar Wilde and watched a show about traffic cops. Now I'm sitting in bed

Thank you, fingers crossed re the friend.

How are you making the throw? I’m imagining some ingenious crocheting!

It is crochet but I'm not sure it's ingenious. I'm really just using all the yarn I have left from a cardigan I made and I like to have busy hands. I'll give it to our daughter...whether she wants it or not .

Did you feel more comfortable tonight with just a couple of friends?

I did, I did. And my two mates organised it just so that was the case. Bless them. People are really caring.

Ahhhh sound fab! I need a crafty hobby!

^^ good

You don't need a crafty hobby, you'll never have any money and your house will fill up with random stuff you've bought 'in case'
