Are tattoos a turn on or a turn off? Be interesting to hear people thoughts.

"Are tattoos a turn on or a turn off? Be interesting to hear people thoughts. "

I guess like any physical characteristics they'll be a turn on for some and a turn off for others.

Plus the design will have an impact as some are more aesthetically pleasing than others and tastes will differ. One person's 'yuck' will be another's 'yum'.

Personally? Love em. I have over 20 and my OH has loads too.

Neither a turn off nor a turn on. I can enjoy them as part of a person's considered self-presentation, or I can think they're neutral, or in some cases I can think they're negative.

I don't have any. I don't find them a turn on or a turn off - bordering on neutrality towards them (exceptions made for really dorky ones that fall in to my hyperfixation areas).

I work with a bunch of very trendy lads and every single one of them admits to the same reason for getting tattoos. “Girls like them”

If you’re a guy it’s a great investment. It’s the male boob job. Couple grand and pulling at the pub gets easier

They're part of a while not an individual element.

Some are definitely a turn off though. Like tribal or markers of culture I just don't vibe with.

I every tattoo I got means something.

I actually believe that to be true though, chics dig it, so people will do it, like going to the gym for the ripped body.

Wherever

I’m interested in story behind the tattoo, I love the unique ones, personal ones, intriguing ones.

I have a few of those, they don’t make any sense to anyone but myself, and a very few people who know the story behind them.

The “trendy”, the meaningless, the popular ones - no thanks.

I also really dislike tattooed fingers for some reason. Big turn off.

I’ve thought about opening a tattoo parlour called “no ink no stink”

Offering budget tattoos. Pick from one of our starter packs including classic hits like “generic fuck boy #1” and “I got d*unk in a British resort abroad”

You wear fake tan and excessive make up probably because it makes you feel good about yourself nothing different to someone who wants tattoos

I'm interested to find out why tattoos ever became popular again after almost dying out after about the 1950s.

Presumably they featured in some dystopian cult film which I must have missed.

That's the usual explanation for most crazes, along with celebrity influence.

Unlike long hair, tattoos are less ephemeral.

I say pretty much everything on here tongue firmly in cheek. That said I am unusually grumpy today and having a soh failure. Though I made a sweeping generalisation about no one in particular, but you’ve chosen to make specific comments about me. That’s not ‘nice’ now is it.

I think you look fab! Am jealous of your tan, I just used the make up and tan as a general comment not meant in a derogatory way, I used it to show we are all different and like different things on ourselves and each other, the world would be a boring place if we all liked the same, no malice meant like I said I'm jealous of you tan
