So, a dear friend ( lady ) from here arranged a meet with another lady.

All was arranged for last night.

My friend was to get the train to Birmingham

The lady would pick her up from there and off they went

They had FaceTimed on Tuesday

So all was good

On arrival to new st station my friend texts her

“ I’m here “

At that point the other bitch blocks her of fab and WhatsApp

Disgusting behaviour

A friend of mine met some girls on holiday in Spain, he slept wet a couple of them. When he got home he got invited down to London to my meet one again.

He got the train to London Euston and she blocked him on Facebook. He already had mental health issues.

And this is why you have a plan B.

Plan B being the nearest gallery, museum or some other attraction to spend your time in that you'll enjoy instead.

I do this. I don't like having my time wasted.

We have had that a few times. Twice we had travelled a decent distance for the meet (70 miles & 40 miles). We chatted up until about an hour before the meet both times. 1 just never came back online when we arrived the other was online and read each of our messages but wouldn’t reply.

People are just cunts.

We should always have a back up plan....I was let down once when I was sat in the bar waiting on a meet....Only to receive a msg that he can't do it cos he's married It was news to me that he was married....

The bar was packed & I'm certain it was noticed how my face fell in disappointment....

Anyway....quick plan of action....I rang my fwbs who came to my rescue.... Thankfully....It would have been a shame to waste me all dressed up & all that....

So if ye can....always have a back up plan....

As funny as that would be, I don’t think it’s ever polite to include other innocents in your jokes

She even told me to “walk in, doors unlocked, I’m upstairs”

Luckily I never walk into anyone house like that. That would have put a right fright on whoever was inside

Urgh how annoying! As someone else said have a back up plan of something nice you can do.

I’ve found this happens a lot on vanilla dates unfortunately. I send a message with an up to date pic of myself 30 min before I leave home saying ‘this is me right now, are you 100% sure you still want to meet’. Have saved myself a couple of unwanted trips that way - best they chicken out before you leave the house!

I like the sound of plan B. Maybe we should just skip the trying to meet people part and go straight to plan b

Especially if there's a café too.

That's horrible.

It takes a particularly despicable and twisted person to do something like that.

Would it be wrong to name the person in your profile?

I've seen it occasionally in people's profiles and in my opinion, they do right.

I had this recently. Arranged to meet a guy, 2 hours before he was due to arrive at the hotel that I just arrived at, the typical "family emergency" cropped up and he cancelled, only to display a verification from someone else the next morning. Utter dickhead. His loss though, I went on my own to the party we were going to go to together and had an amazing, filthy and very memorable time.

I've had some terrible experiences here. A couple that stick in my mind are:

Arranged a meet and was blocked on route, fortunately I'd stopped at the garage 5 minutes from home to get a coffee and saw I was blocked before I went all the way to the rendezvous.

Messaged a couple all day arranging the night, agreeing boundaries and expectations of me. Arranged to park away feom their house and message from there to get their house number. They left me on read for 45 minutes before I gave up and went home. An hour after I got home they said they'd had a 'wobble' and would I come back. I wouldn't. Worst part was they had verifications and said they never messed people about.

Please don't. We once had a bloke knock on at our old house. It was an early Saturday evening, we were home with our young daughter. The man at the door insisted he'd been told he'd find "fun" at our house and absolutely refused to leave. He was very persistent and I was getting ready to phone the police. It was very, very frightening. For context, we had never, ever given our address to anyone from Fab. The man said he'd been told we used the site, which Mr KC feigned ignorance about.

Please, please never send anyone to someone else's house.
