We have been using it all day at home and thought it was awesome how you really can get virtually any music genre and style you can think of.

Used it for years...but don't use it very often. If that makes sense ?

Yes, we have just done that. It is not expensive really when you think about the amount of music you can get

I've used their free version for a few years too, excellent for playing music while you work on pc or lappy.

The only downside is having to think about what to listen to instead of browsing a CD collection or going to HMV to find inspiration for new music

I have done, but you can listen to the same song only so many times before you get told to upgrade to continue playing it.

I use Deezer more now.

I don't think you can get Beatles on Spotify. There are various big artists missing due to licensing agreement issues

S has the premium package, awesome when we're in the car and someone wants to hear a specific song right then and there!

True - but it does "suggest" music based on your preference?

Love it........have been on it 2 years now, had to upgrade to the £5 a month after a while because it will only let you listen to songs a certain amount of times if you are not paying.

But its great, I've got it on the comp and if I'm getting ready to go out or cleaning, I stick it on random selection and up full blast !!!!

May I also recommend '8 Tracks' as well. Similar to Deezer and Spotify, but with hand-crafted playlists submitted by users.

Yeah that can be embarrassing if you have any guilty pleasures musically. It misses nothing!

What in your experience advantages does Deezer have over Spotify?

Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and AC/DC, for starters...before we even get into the realms of my more 'esoteric' tastes ! You can import all your own iTunes library into your Spotify library if you wish but I prefer to use Subsonic and have music on my own PC available at all times wherever I go, without having to upload to cloud servers.

Spotify's great for parties though !
