12 weeks since my hip operation and I'm allowed to drive again! What a joy to get my car back off my mate who's been looking after it and doing the odd bit of Caz chauffering (although she drew the line at taking me to Adam & Eve's last time we were in the vicinity )

So I've had a wee drive around town and been to the market without having to worry about carrying the shopping home - was a bit apprehensive but for the next couple of weeks I'm not planning any long journeys while I re-adjust to driving with a slightly gammy leg...party in Bolton in a fortnight will be my first long distance drive - can't wait
