Halifax

I was on one medication and I think it had a negative affect (gotta be aware it might not be the meds though), then when i went on Citilopram for a while it affected my ability to orgasm when I wanted.

Different strokes etc(for different folks). If you ate having issues then speak to the doc amd day it's affecting sex, and i imagine they will prescribe something more suitable.

Let's face it, having sex is amazing, if the meds stop it from being so, then that's only got to add to the reasons for taking them in tje first place.

Don't be afraid to be frank with the gp: if they don't know, they can't help. And that's what they're there for!

Lots of depression medication affects the libido. Maybe have a chat with your doctor to see if he can put you on some others

Don't be embarrassed. Doctors here all kinds of things and as it's a common side effect they will have heard it loads before

Same. Feel like a porn star. Can last for four hours plus on these tablets

Maybe ask about testosterone replacement therapy instead of antidepressants

Ive been on depression tablets since 17. They do effect libido and can make keeping it hard a task. I had more issues finishing

yes they contain a chemical that reduces your ability to get an erection, viagra is the way forward

Sertraline helps stop premature ejaculation. I've not got that so has stopped me ejaculating in the past.

Erection died because of how long I was going for.

Dr will explore alternatives.

I'm on mirtazapine and it doesn't seem to affect my labido. I have not really read the side affects, I probably should do.

If its Sertraline its known to decrease libido and know to cause difficulty achieving orgasm in both sexes. It quite often lowers testosterone levels too

Mine are for Anxiety but I think the type of meds I'm on are taken by people with depression but yeah I've had that issue.

Don't worry, if your new on the meds it comes back but I've found I have the odd occasion where it doesn't play ball (so to speak).

Not that I'm getting any currently so not an issue haha.

I'm in metazapine. It does not affect me getting an erection. It may have affected my labido. I say "may" because it could also be because of my poor mental health at the moment.
