I’m on iPhone 13. I’ve hit the upgrade point is it worth upgrading to iPhone 15? Do you upgrade yours regularly?

I only replace my phone when it no longer works and can't be repaired

I recent went from an iPhone XR to a 14plus and honestly the only two reasons I did so were because my battery was failing and I like the emergency satcom feature for when I’m out and about hiking.

Functionality wise, it’s no better than my old XR so if you’re happy with your current one, stick with it and save some bucks

Personally I wouldn’t change if you don’t need to. Do your bit for the environment.

I hadn’t thought of it like that. Good point.

Just go sim only then. You may be worth it, but no phone is worth it

Phones haven't changed in any meaningful way way in the last 5 years.

No. I keep my phone until it dies. I changed from iPhone 6 to a 10 when the latest one was the iPhone 13.

Nope my current Sony is 7 year's old. Replaced the Battery before Christmas and it's as good as ever

You will pay a fortune to upgrade and more than likely never use the bits that are better

Apple are all hype

If there are no issues keep it. This is still newish model. They make new ones as if everyone was running out of them like milk or bread

Although I do see a difference between my kids Samsung S10 and my S23. Really depends how you use your phone.

Seems to be mainly camera upgrades, that’s what the expensive telly ads seem to concentrate on and the extortionate price of phones is mainly to pay the ads

I think I upgrade my phone about once every four or five years, and only then if my current one is having some issues. It also means I see a noticeable jump in performance and features which is nice too I tend to buy the handset alone when there's a deal going as well to save some money.

I wait till the updates no longer update my model

I went from iPhone 4, to 6 plus to 12 pro. I'll keep the 12 pro till it's old and out of date even though I can upgrade now.
