Creature comforts, a warm bed a snuggly sofa, a cosy atmosphere and for me having the kids and now the puppy with me, crazy or lazy days in the summer out on the garden or in winter by the fire. For me that is home.

A child's bike in the garden,

Smell of toast,

Logs burning in the fireplace,

The sound of children playing,

"Daddy's home!"

A hammer and box of nails on the kitchen table,

A cat,

A dog,

Grandad calling to visit.

I don’t know yet. I think a home was where I wanted to be, and not just where I reside. This house where I am isn’t where I want to be yet. I didn’t plan this, but here is where I live and shelter. It’s not what I consider a home.
