Alicante, Spain. (Sometimes in Wales)

I've just seen a surreal animated film, which got me thinking.

If you could swap all the years between your 20th and 30th birthdays, for a guaranteed 20 years between 60 and 80, would you swap?

I hope my question makes sense?

As in, everything that happened to you between 20 and 30 would be undone and disappear?

If so, hell no.

As I'm 68 ATM, I'd be buying a guaranteed 12 yrs from now , tempting. But no deal. I'll keep my box thankyou.

No.

The years between 60 and 80 can be excellent years but I don't think I'd trade them for the ten between 20 and 30

I don't actually know what my answer would be.

I had a great 10 years in my twenties, but who knows if I'll have any between 60 and 80?

No, I don't think I'd enjoy being that old as opposed to my 20s

You're the first poster here to take the trade!

What happens to my twenties? Does time pause so I’m basically 20 when I turn 30? Or is that whole decade and all my memories eradicated from history? I had a great 20s so I’d keep that and spooff the pension before signing off at 60

you can have some of the best times of your life between 60 and 80 but the probablility of the second ten years being significantly less good than the ten years between 20 and 30 are higher I'd say.

I think i could give up that 10 years between 20 and thirty for 20 years in later life, life is precious and goes quicker than you think
