Have you been to any? Do you want to go to any? Was it worth the expense? What's been your favourite? Do you get absolutely hammered on the matching wines and can't remember the meal?

Been to one, and can’t say I was that impressed

But, my brother recently took my sister as a special treat, he’s not shut up about it and had a fabulous experience

I've been to a few

L'enclume is my favourite...

The night I went it was a celebration dinner so not the standard menu ....it was a 15 course meal with matches drinks to each course.

Was absolutely amazing...in many ways more akin to theatre

Wolverhampton

I've only been to one, and when I just checked I couldn't see it still on the Michelin star list. It's The Bilash in Wolverhampton. Perfectly nice Indian food. Not that expensive. Just a pleasant place to eat. I think we had a meal there before we saw Priscilla at the theatre a few years ago

Michelin Starred restaurants don't always come with massive expense.

I've been to loads at the lower end of cost and they've been amazing, on the other hand been to some far pricier ones and they were no where near as good.

There was a little Bistro place close to me that used to do a 3 course sunday lunch for £32 with 1 star, was bloody brilliant but Covid killed that off.

I would LOVE to go there, one day. It was voted one of the best restaurants in the world last year, but I've wanted to go for years and it's never happened as yet.

I've had dinner in a few, the most amazing dish I've had ever was Rice and Flesh at Dinner By Heston. Was absolutely amazing.

I'm a bit suspicious that since you know it is Michelin starred and are paying an appropriate price, that you are going to be convinced it's great before you even sit down, whether or not it really is.

I've been to one, in my opinion it was worth the expense, maybe more for the service rather than the food itself.

A actually work next door to one, and fair go they work hard for their star.

The owner is often outside insisting the staff need to polish their knobs to a bright shine.

My old house mate was a chef at a Michelin restaurant, at home he mostly ate lines of and beans from a can but the few time he did cook it was the best food I've ever eaten.

Only been to one it our local city where the food is totally a mouth orgasm with every bite and lunchtime it’s only €26 for three courses so excellent value for money.

When I had a restaurant here and we was ranked number one out of 353 restaurants in our department I was embarrassed eating there because our ranking was above theirs but they took it in good heart.

About an hour away from us there is a restaurant that trains Japanese chefs in French cuisine and that is next on my bucket list to visit.

Yeah been to hestons "dinner" in knightsbridge.

Didn't pay as it was a prize that my ex wife got for being salesperson of the month. Yeah enjoyed it. My ex wife was a major foodie and was loving it

If I’m honest, the food looked lovely, but the meal just didn’t match up to it? Found it uninspiring and unimaginative, far too many pools of purée, it was just very bland

Been to a few in Dubai & UK but not really my thing, almost uncomfortable. I’m quite fussy with restaurants has to be traditional recipes, children friendly ideally family run , big focus on food & relaxed vibe or I would rather save money & cook my own food !

I have been to a few 1*, one 2* and one 3*.

The two/three star were more about the artistry of the dishes. I actually enjoyed the meals more in some of the 1*s. If they have it I go for the tasting menu as you get some really enjoyable flavours and tastes. Equally, I tend to limit the drink to something light so you can really appreciate the meal.

Went to Gordon Ramsey's place on Royal Hospital Rd, Chelsea. I believe it has 3 Stars but happy to be corrected.

Its a nice place, great staff, superb presentation and all that. The food was good too. But nothing spectacular. If anything it was on the lukewarm side but that's nitpicking. But you can nitpick with a bill costing all that. Glad I wasn't paying, that's all I'll say.

PS - Were any of the dishes better than my late Gran's (herself a pro cook for many decades) homemade meat n' potato pie??? Nah... not even close!!!

Yes. I’ve been to a couple of high end meals and restaurants. It’s an indulgent that was rare. Worth every Penny and some realy good memories. Some of the best food I’ve eaten.

I never knew celery could be cooked 5 different ways and taste so damn good.

I went to "Sindhu" by "Atul Kochhar" in Marlow a few years ago. I'm not 100% shure the restaurant itself is Michelin Starred, but the chef defo is. It's one of the very few Indian restaurants around with a starred chef. I had one of the six course taster menu's complete with pairing wines. The food was fantastic, easily the best Indian meal i have ever had and the wines were perfect with each course. For the £125 it was at the time, i considered it very good value for money, especially in somewhere as expensive as Marlow is to live in.

Been to several and some Good Hat (Australian equivalent of Michelin stared restaurants) restaurants across more than six countries, and four continents.

There’s one I go to over and over again in London. I have enjoyed the experience at each restaurant I’ve been to.

One of my absolute most memorable ones was right before the pandemic, in Australia. The food was exquisite, mind blowing. I can close my eyes and nearly taste it and it’s close to four years ago that I was last there.

Yes been in a few not bothered about the glam or the food I'm just a plain Jane foodie stop at clariges other year wasn't interested in eating there brother and sister in law paid I just spoke to concierge told me where best burger bar was total waste of money for me.

A bit pedantic I know but is the restaurants that get the stars not the chefs
