Looks like that nobody has them but I enjoyed it as very rarely have one. A bit naughty but enjoyed it, especially with some added bits/scraps.

Haven't had one for a while now. White bread, salt and vinegar, lashings of salted butter that melts and runs down your fingers part way through eating

A couple of weeks ago after a night out I got a craving for the far superior roll and fritter.

Had to make do. Still good though.

I used to have them all the time at uni, when I worked in a pub and the chippy was on the walk home. Solid quick n dirty dinner option

Last time I had one was a few years ago.

Probably last year when I was up in Manchester for a weekend and asked for a chip cob after a night out. They had no fucking clue what I was on about

Today lunchtime from local chippy, a roll rather than bread but well buttered and just the job on a cold day with a cup of tea

I honestly can't remember.

This may be an unpopular opinion, but I find a chippy tea really boring. The thought is always better than the end product.

Sorry OP

How can every mouthful taste the same? Crispy battered cod, with soft and fluffy chips, lashings of salt and vinegar and topped with a spiced and savoury curry sauce. God damnit, I fancy that now!

Maybe I need to stop being a pig and shovelling it all in.

Still only two flavours. Chips and curry sauce or cod and curry sauce

Same here. Grabbed a bag of chips after work as I was tired to work. Got home and there was no bread so had them in a wrap with cheese instead and it was actually really good.

I actually had one on a date earlier this year , someone who had never experienced chips. It was amazing, she wasn’t that impressed.

I think it was £2 , last time I had I think it was 16p
