Mine was always hooded but it wouldn’t retract all the way so felt uncomfortable and tight. So I had it off. Best decision I made. Less sensitive but performance enhanced due to that and cleaner.

I used to always walk around fully hooded. However, I walk around half hooded these days, following an operation to remove a constrictive phimosis and adhesions a fortnight ago. The op was pretty painful at times, especially the two injections in the tip of my bell as it was done under local anaesthetic. The surgeon seems to have done a great job though. I can't help wondering if she may have been a tiny bit of a perv, since she has left me with an additional ridge on my shaft slightly down from the rim of my bell, as well as increasing the amount the rim just out when removing the adhesions. I don't really have a say in the matter. My foreskin only covers about two thirds of my helmet so after a bit of walking about it ends up rolled back anyway. And if I try and put it back in place, it kinda says I DON'T THINK SO and starts rolling back again.
