little house on the praire

ive seen fields with lambs in twice this week on my travels. I am an old fashioned country girl and it always cheers me up. I remember when my grandad worked on the farm and sometimes they had christmas lambs. Right from being about 3 years old i used to bottle feed the cade lambs. Oh and i saw a field full of just black sheep ive only ever actually seen this once before

Aw, bless!

I love the new lambs, especially when they dance round the field, and jump up with all 4 feet off the ground!

Sod off, ya misery guts! Yes, I'm OK with the fact that the lickle lambs get eaten before they turn into ugly sheep. But when they're pretty new lambs, I love 'em!

Unfortunately the Icke lambs play games with one another and jump on their mummies backs... So it's hard to chow down on the dead ones . Mind you the bits we buy in the supermarket bear little resemblance to the living creatures

You will like where I live then as there is a farm up the road and the farmer lets his sheep roam around the estate every now and again, love watching the lambs jumping around and shouting 'mint sauce' at them
