Dance break

London

Sometimes when I’m really stressed out and having a downward spiral I put a loud song on and dance it out to try and break my over-ruminating.

What’s a good “Aaaagghh dance it out!” tune to listen to?

Welcome all recommendations.

Tom Cochrane - Life is a Highway

A lot of the Village People - and a lot of stuff from that sort of time period

I used to have a double CD called Disco Til You Die, and that would be standard during teenage depressive dips

Hillsborough, NI

Possibly the wrong genre for dancing but good for releasing the stress with a bit of jumping around: Break Stuff by Limp Bizkit.

For closer to what's being sought you could follow the video of Praise You by Fatboy Slim

Oh if I'm "ahh-ing" hard, I'll either go back to my emo days (MCR's I'm Not Okay (I Promise), Paramore's Misery Business, listen to the classics like Hit The Road Jack or Mack The Knife.

If I really need to get some stress out, and because I'm so easily influenced, right now I'm either listening to Murder On The Dancefloor or some songs from the Skins soundtrack.

La la land

Shake a tail feather - blues brothers.

Such a whore - JVLA

Should be dancing - Bee Gees (this requires tap shoes though)

I'll dance to most types of music though I'm not fussy
