I'm just going to toot my own horn for a second, but I've managed 10 days smoking free and this is the best I've done in 7 years where I had given up for a couple of years, I picked them up again because of some stressful situations and have decided to give up again.

So yeah congratulations to me.

Thank you for reading my ted talk.

Well done op

It's all mind over matter and getting self control and I'm sure it feels wonderful to achieve.

Especially when you've done this without any professional help

Remember, what is hard is the 1st day, 1st week, 1st month, 1st quarter etc.. But each become easier as time goes..

Keep going!!

If you feel stressed, wank more, lol

Good luck.

"3 full weeks now! So happy I've managed this! "

Well done.....

I quit smoking Dec 12th 2022. My second attempt at quitting and nailed it using a vape to wean myself off the nicotine by may 2023.

My first attempt to quit I used patches, had been quit three months and my then ex boyfriend chased me in his car trying to ram my car off the road with his. I had a panic attack and bought cigarettes stressed out to fuck.

So I completely understand how stress can tip you over.

If you download the non smoking apps you can get a counter of you smoke free days which is nice to see each day to keep you going. If you haven't already done it.

Sounds like you've got this!

Amazing!! Well done.

I have to ask though, people ask me all the time (and yes I vape so might be the reason I don't) when I gave up people said "is your sense of smell come back etc". Apart from not wanting to be around smokers much anymore, I can't say I have felt much change in not smoking but like I say, I vape so might be my reason x
