Do professionals get people turning up who are unclean, at the same rate as fab users? It must be refreshing that more STI testing is self Administered these days, when, presumably, smelly dicks, bag etc are so prevalent

From some of the books I've read they do. Health professionals must develop very strong stomachs I reckon

According to one nurse I knew a consultant refused to see a patient until he had washed his feet they smelled so bad.

I work In healthcare and I once washed a man who hadn't washed for almost a year, when he came to hospital.

He was young too,I can still remember that water and the smell.

. When my grandmother was admitted to hospital in her 90s they wanted to bathe her. She refused saying she hadn't bathed for 15 years and wasn't going to start now. She had washed during that time though but I didn't envy the person who bed bathed her.

You do have to get used to smells and sights in healthcare

Some things will always stay with me though

I'm sure they do. I admire anyone who deals with these things day to day
