I'm a shower guy personally but I'm currently sat having a bath for the first time in years.

Seriously, what's the appeal? It's really fucking boring!

Well get off your phone, wash yourself and then get out if you don’t like it?!?

I prefer the shower.

Racing the 4 minute timer.

I've just sat in my bath, my orgasm was brilliant. That's always appealling when I'm in the bath! And then relax!

I definitely prefer a shower but I do like a bath if I'm feeling one, poorly or achy.

It is boring! I tend to watch a series or something whilst I make myself into a lobster

My problem with baths is that they are too small. I can’t stretch out. Legs hang over the end and I get cold toes. Shower any day!

I've recently got into cold baths! In the morning fill the tub with only cold water, get in for a few minutes, then wash as normal. Out you pop feeling refreshed and energised!

Hot showers for after exercise or sex though.

Alicante, Spain. (Sometimes in Wales)

My house doesn't have a bath (if you exclude the swimming pool!) but I did used to like lying in the bath with a beer, listening to music.

I mostly take showers but like to have a bath occasionally, usually if I'm feeling a bit battered after a really long week at work.

It's nice to relax in the hot water, play with the bubbles, easier to wash your legs... And shave anything that needs shaving.

I don’t wash in a bath ( I stand up and shower once the waters gone ) but I do like to sit in a monkey bath and be at peace.

Central

Both have benefits, though these seem elusive to the amount of people who are reported as arriving for meets seemingly having been far from water

Baths really are great for unwinding and relaxing your muscles, perhaps after hard work or stress.

I think it’s more one for the women OP, they generally have more time to lie about doing nothing

Getting clean: shower

Aches and pains: bath

Just my opinion, although it is clearly the correct one.

I’d love a relaxing bath. Just sitting in there with a book and bottle of Miss Matey.

Sadly, I got mine taken out a few years ago and had it converted to a shower room

Much prefer a shower but when I'm aching, I'll or just can't be arsed......I'll have a soak in the bath for an hour

When I don't have time to unwind, I get the second best of both: shower while the plug's stoppered. Warm water around the ankles is soothing.

Bath is a good treat on recovery day with a good book (or even glass of wine). Not everyday thing for sure

Gasp!

You can't realistically put a bath bomb in a shower and soak, with candles and incense and nice music.

Silly man.

I too am a shower guy. However, I don't have a shower so I have baths now and I don't mind it as it get's me away from reality even it's for half hour!

Completely agree. Just go in, clean what you need to and then chill in wa clothes in front of the TV instead of your own minging bath water

Baths I use to unwind. Lavender oil, candles, music. To get the stress away, to think things through, to ‘breathe’. That’s what a bath is for, for me.

Shower is wash and out.

What's the TV doing while you're chilling?

Bognor Regis

I love a bath occasionally, so when I bought my flat 3 years ago, I had a lovely deep bath installed. Unfortunately, my hot water tank doesn't hold enough hot water to fill it, so now I have the world's deepest shower tray that I've caught my foot on twice & nearly broke my leg! Epic fail
