Another "Block" tread with a twist

So please tell me the silliest reason you've been blocked for/or blocked someone.

Also is there any point to block someone pretty much lives on the forum?

I mean someone probably would never messaged you anyway for multiple reasons.

*

By the way I'm pretty sure it's not against the rules to comment on someone's thread who blocked you.

Unless you just want to chat them up.

***

Save the serious blockings from this thread please.

This supposed to be fun or sad.

Not too serious though.

I just block people I don't want to hear directly from.

Sometimes it's just a single comment that gives me that ick feeling.

Do you ever change your mind or think it happened it the heat of the moment?

I mean it in general, not any person in mind.

I did unblock a couple of people.

I could block plenty of people from forum because of 1 or 2 comments I didn't like, but unsure what would be the point. They don't like me, so unlikely they will message me.

About some actually I changed my mind recently in both, positive or negative way as well.

Oh. Yes. Once or twice someone I blocked after seeing a few comments that I heartily disagreed with, but then I started to see and understand their humour more, and have since become friendly with, even if we're definitely never going to fuck.

If someone says something directly to me in a message, I have a lot less room for forgiveness, there's no reasoning out the playing to an audience in private.

I don't hate or dislike anyone forever. (Except my father + some nasty people from my private life, but not a long list)

I just kind of counter hate.

Someone pushing me, then I push back.

I don't hate anyone. Apart from occasionally the people I love.

Feeding off someone else's energy is a pretty natural reaction. I come across fairly cold and hostile to those who don't know me, so I tend to provoke hostile responses. It is what it is

I never hate someone for disagreeing with me.

Unless they're being childish or offensive about it in comments.

Even then I try to ignore them, if possible.

I rarely use the block button.

Not much point on forum anyway.I know you're not a fan, but still often you give the best responses.

Hardly ignore people, if you have something to say.

I don't judge you in a bad way.

The opposite actually.

Don't take this as a love letter.

Not interested in them and they didn't get the message the first time in my inbox.

Those are the shit stirrers usually who are changing sides, whichever is more comfortable.

1 is friend this week, then the other one is friend/future FWB the other week.

Many things seem worse than it is, if it's removed from the context or missing previous messages.

That's my experience.

Probably you will be the bad one the following week.

I usually try to avoid all involved in this kind of games.

I've blocked someone because they said they didn't like football.

It wasn’t just that, they used the same well-trodden classist tropes about footballers & the fans in order to justify it, that you hear from bitter rugby followers who cannot fathom why egg chasing isn't seen as the most interesting thing you could do on grass by most people.

I know I've been blocked by someone because I made valid criticisms of their favourite football team & they were unable to handle it
