Nope.

End of thread.

Some don’t like you because of it? That’s their problem, not yours.

"Seriously think people don't like me because of it."

It can teach you a lot about yourself, about your relationship, and it can help you become closer to your partner(s). Some swinger couples or hotwifes or singles stay in the lifestyle forever, while others get what they want from it after a number of years, or just a couple of meet-ups. Every person/couple is different, and that's okay!

that's fucked up, you don't need to be a swinger to be a slag, even if you're not on a swingers website, you can be just as perverted lol

Definitely not. People come in all different shapes and sizes, in what they look like, their personalities and their what they need from life to be happy.

Wherever I lay my hat.

Consenting adults need not worry about other people’s views.

Protect you children from the bigots and sanctimonious gobshites by keeping it quiet publicly. Friends outside of my (secret) life may not understand my choices as the conflict with their values and beliefs may be too great and I don’t need the debate.

The answer is swinging is neither good or bad.

Like so much in life, it depends an a variety of factors. It can be a good lifestyle if the couple or single enjoys their experiences and it satisfies their physical, psychological and emotional needs.

Many people who participate in the lifestyle expound on many of the benefits in terms of communication, shared experience, sexual fulfillment and the like.

The truth is that we are all Devine sexual beings and sharing and exchanging sexual energy is a very human experience.

Other people may not find swinging useful and may prefer monogamy in their relationship.

Perhaps fear, jealousy or insecurity drive their decision or they simply prefer the exclusivity that monogamy affords them.

So, it simply depends. At least in today’s world, people have greater freedom to define their sex life in ways that maximize their enjoyment and fulfillment in the absence of society’s moral judgment.

Do they really change from liking you to not liking you once they realise you're a swinger? I'd say they're not your real friends in that case

No it is not.

But it is still ‘socially unacceptable’ to openly declare so in the main. But that’s society’s problem not yours or mine.

Agree with this. I need discretion for my kids and work .... don't need to bring this life into theirs or my workplace.

A good friend of ours found out, he was fine about it, he obviously told his wife and she became very distant. I get the distinct impression that she doesn't approve, not that we need her approval but its put a bit of a strain in the friendship as we dont socalise like we used to.

Maybe she feels threatened by your life style choice. Her distancing could well be a sign that she’s intimidated.

I think lots outside the scene don't understand it, think it's about sleeping with as many people as possible.

Anyone who judges me or treats me differently if they find out are no longer friends

It may be that they have an erroneous view of swingers, as someone who will jump on any and everyone.

If female, they then perceive you as some kind of threat and become insecure around you.

If male, they then view you as some kind of slag.

These are their problems, but I understand it’s you that has to deal with it, good luck OP.

Who cares what people think. You only live once. When you are old on your death bed looking back at your life would you be regretting not living the life you want in order to keep face with others? Some of those people incidentally who may not even be around long term.

Being a swinger is not a bad thing but still not socially acceptable by a lot of people, especially those that are religious.

I like being a swinger I started talking to a woman in my local area we haven't even met up for sex yet but she doesn't take things too seriously and we just chat and banter it's fun and she has a good outlook on swinging perspective and we're really good mates but I wouldn't want a relationship with her
