Oh you've made me feel a bit nostalgic. We used to keep chickens. There's nothing that makes me happier than sitting outside watching chickens scratching in the ground and hearing that low sort of cluck.

That's why I did the tread. Feeling a tad nostalgic for a little bit of 'the good life'

"My next door neighbour has a couple."

Do they let you collect the odd fresh egg for your breakfast?

Love chickens.

As kids some friends had some and we tried to train them to sit on our arms. The chickens seemed not to pleased.

Loved it to collect fresh eggs.

I do, but I don't. The chickens from the farm down the road keep wandering over to my house, hiding in the hedge and sitting on the windowsill. I like 'em.

Make them a little place to lay eggs. You never know. They might do that

I picked up a live chicken for the first time recently and was pleasantly surprised by how fluffy and endearing it was.

So...yeah

Always like to keep my audience riveted

Certainly not. I fear she would not be receptive to any "picking up" or man-handling from the likes of me.

My neighbours have very little privacy, I go round and present an egg box for filling

A guy down the road from where I used to live kept chickens and they would always get out. I remember one day walking past and seeing a chicken right by the road, looking for all the world like it was waiting to cross. I was beside myself at the joke opportunities and got a great picture!

Sounds funny. Will it be approved as a profile pic?

No I don't.

I wanted some, but I was told I wasn't allowed them and that I'd not be capable of looking after them. That was last year. Guess what I plan to do at some point this year?!.....
