A first meet has to be basically somewhere I'm already going.

After that it depends on how much connection I feel as to how far I'd travel for them

It depends how invested I am in someone. If I'm interested, we get along really well regardless of if we have sex or not, I'm happy to travel a few hours.

I wouldn't do that if I wasn't staying overnight (alone) somewhere though. A six hour round trip is far too much effort, even for me.

I'd go 100 miles for a few.

I'd travel more for maybe 2 angels (YKWYA), but they aren't the "fuck me now" types, so technically it would be a social.

I just realize how stupid that sounds to travel to Foggy Bottom for a coffee.

Very occasionally I will travel a few hours just to see one person and not have it combined with another reason that I am in their area. They will be special though.

On one occasion I also did a two and a half hour round trip after having already driven 3 and half hours that day just to pick someone up at a train station after thier train to my local station was cancelled. I would happily do it again. And again and again for that person.

My serious answer is that how far I'll travel depends on how invested I am - someone new, local (but I won't accommodate). Someone I've been talking to for a long time, potentially hundreds of miles (and I may accommodate).

But I have travelled 200 miles for a weekend meet - onky ever having chat through Fab and on the phone first. It was the best leap of faith I ever took and have a true friend for life as a result.

First time we ever met a couple from here we did a 5 hour drive followed by a 2.5 hour ferry trip to meet them. At that point we never imagined people would cancel on you last minute…..luckily they didn’t but knowing what we do now we wouldn’t do that now unless we had met them previously.
