Curious about Nipple piercings

I don't have one, I don't want one but I'm interested to know if piercings alter the sensitivity of the nipple?

As I was saying - I would imagine it depends on the person. For me it has made them more sensitive I think. But they were quite sensitive before to be fair

For some. Not for others.

I had zero nipple sensation before I ever had my pierced. Other than the moment of literally piercing the skin with the needle, I still have zero sensation. I can hang 1kg weights off my nipples pulling them and not feel a thing.

Others may have heightened sensations.

Not sure if they do for men as the tend to go behind the nipple and in to the muscle due to you having smaller nipples.

I have both of mine done and they're very sensitive.

I have one through the nipple and one behind the nipple, very different sensations.

Mine were sensitive before but there is definitely a difference

Tonypandy.

Had very little sensation prior to piercings, a lot of sensation afterwards and since removal several.years ago, gone back to no sensation

I’ve had both on each nipple, like a cross, equal in sensation or lack for me.

They both are, but the one behind the nipple feels better. It was considerably more painful having it done though
