And hutch star David Soul dies aged 80. Was my favourite tv show Saturday nights on bbc1.

Yes and he was in a Dirty Harry movie and chart topper, I seem to remember a domestic violence issue but I don't recall the outcome, it was the fun show of the era though

I loved being allowed to stay up and watch it, the theme tune was ace and the car was even better
