What albums blew you away last year? What did you buy/download/stream last year and think yeah. This is a fab album. It doesn’t have to be a specific genre as I like most. I would just like your recommendations please.

Unenthusiastic wristy/finger bang in it for the best recommendation.

From 2023

The EP Split Decision by Dave and Central Cee was perfection.

Crop Circle 2 by Nines. Pretty much flawless.

Beautiful and Brutal Yard by JHus. *chefs kiss*

I enjoyed Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday 2 on the few listens I’ve had of it.

And that’s it. I hated all of Drake’s trash but I love his old stuff so he was my most listened to artist last year followed by Dave of course.

Other albums not from 2023 I listened to for the first time last year and enjoyed? Only ‘No Thank you’ by Little Simz and that was my favourite album.

Shout out to Beyoncé too. I listened to her a lot last year.

Thank you, thank you. I’ll give these a go.

I’ve never been much of a Drake fan tbh. As much as I hate to say it, I’m not a massive fan of Beyoncé’s music either. Her as a brand? Yes. She’s literally Beyoncé.

You’re welcome darling. It’s a grower not a shower that one. But I find their albums like that anyway
