I know many people don't use their real first names here, but share it if it isn't a secret.

Share your experiences maybe with other people's first names.

How many Stephs, Beths , Steves or Joes did you meet?

Christian isn't that common in the UK in my opinion.

It is really common in Hungary and on the lost parts of Hungary.

The people I meet and want to know get my actual name. Not my birth name as I don't use it at all. But the name I go by at work and in love in general. Except that one coworker who says she refuses to call me by my sex name. Silly woman, my sex name is Prey.

Oh no, don’t dis the David’s! I met yet another J in real life yesterday and he’s now known as Dot as he looks a bit like Dot Cotten from Line of Duty. All my contacts from here have nicknames which are generally different to both screen name and chosen real name.

I was in a relationship with an Andrew, it wasn't until about 3 months in until I found out that wasn't his name at all. That was his fab name!

I do this with people, they all have to have nicknames so people know which one I'm talking about or to hide their identity for example, crispy ostrich, it was something I saw to do with rugby and my fwb plays. Another friend is sailor boi fancy pants, cos he's in the navy and he wears fancy pants. There was also decorator Dave, HMS Harry and the sgt major.

Yes, common names are changing in different age group.

Still a few names are common in most age groups.

Evergreen oldies (names)

Everyone knows a Steve/Claire from every age group for example, not necessarily from Fab.

You should do a thread about it.

Give names to people say "in" it for their own risk.

Not everyone will be happy with it, but if you warned them then...

(Would be hard work to check photos and read bios of a lot of people.)

You quite often mentioning "ginger" as well.

Might use that in it too. As ginger = Fiery/Feisty...etc.

Just a suggestion, so do with it whatever you want or ignore it if it's stupid.

I’ve never met anyone from Fab whose name was a repeat of another person I’d met before them. All have been different names. Including women.

My real name, as in the one on my birth certificate, is one of those uncommon ones. So much so, I’ve never met anyone else who has the same name as me. The name I have even going by since around age 14 is Bella. It’s part of my real name. If I have to give my name somewhere or introduce myself in the business world, vanilla life, etc. I introduce myself as Bella.

If I take 1 letter of my surname or change one and take one, then I can be either Saint Roland in many languages or Roland Santa.

Hahaha me too! Hawaii 5-O Chris, Naked James, crazy Croydon, whorehouse James, stavros flatley, Pedro the dwarf, Tom Thumb, Nick the Greek. It saves me getting all the “bigDave69” guys mixed up.
