Human beans.

I love haricot beans in a bean salad. Are chickpeas a bean? Roasted chickpeas with a sprinkling of paprika and sea salt, a drizzle of olive oil and served with hummus are so good! I really hope they count now.

All over

Joe beans are funny and friendly but edamame beans are tasty and go well with a drink too. They serve them in a few bars now.

(Sorry Joe, I could not resist it. Poor gag I know)

I’ve never seen feijoada with cabbage in it. That’s an interesting combo. I’ve seen it made with pig ears, trotters, bacon, belly and black-eyed peas or black beans. Some people eat it with crumbly toasted cassava flour on top, and rice on the side.

I only like pink beans. Strongly dislike kidney beans. On occasion, I tolerate gungo peas once a year.

I did say I’m going to try to eat more beans this year.

My cat's beans are the greatest beans known to man.

But if you're going to insist on edible beans, I make a killer Vignole spring bean stew so I'll go with that.
