Afternoon gents! Anybody got any hot tips for a newbie to the world of pubic gardening? I've always maintained a wild and wooly natural approach to the little fella, aside from a brief flirtation with shaving the nads which resulted in a couple of hours feeling cool and fresh followed by weeks of the worst itching I've ever experienced - hence my reluctance to try again! However I've started mucking about with cock rings, which can result on some tangling and yanking of the privet hedge, so I'm thinking about trimming down and neatening up the region.

So what's your advice, seasoned downstairs gardeners? Any tips to avoid the dreaded itch? Recommendations for a decent set of clippers that won't massacre the manhood? (I'm not keen on going full blade-shabed, just trimmed nearly away) Share your wisdom! Fill me with your knowledge!

Just sit upside down in the barbers and ask for a short back and sides

Too risky, all barbers want to do these days is Peaky Blinders hair. I'd end up with a tallywhacker like a vileda mop.

It would have a fade though…

Hair removal cream or go get it waxed. It’s quite nice when the wax goes on, then only a short period of intense agony before you faint and it’s over with

Hair clipper the middle part, grab a big handful of wax and shape the edges into points, dye these parts green.

And voila! The Keith Flint phallus.

Remember those shops that popped up ages ago. You went in, took your shoes off, and put your feet in a fish tank and they nibbled your dead skin away and made your feet real smooth?…..

Op, I’ve got an idea!

Busy the trimmers out. Go a lower guard as you dare. I usually go 2 or 3 and it trims up nicely. No itchy times. But maybe not bald enough for you ring dreams

I use hair clippers without any guard on, quick and easy to do (I make the twins nice and cold so the skin is contracted, and less likely to be nipped)

I don't experience any itchiness, but maybe I'm used to it now. I did once clipper the back garden... never again.

No to trimmers, they’ll pull hairs down there, if long use scissors.

Get disposable razors for using down there, different to your face one.

Do not think about veet or hair removal creams.

Personally I don't like hairy guys to then have bald nether regions.

As someone further up said. Just a pair of trimmers and take it down to a decent length will be fine. If you're nervous just do a little bit the first time. Take more off next time.

See, that's what I'm thinking, being naturally hirsute it would look odd if I want for the full Yul Brynner look. Like I'd had a very small gas explosion in my trollies.

Trim the main bits short with clippers (no2) then hair removal cream for my groin folds, balls and crack.

No abrupt odd looking changes in length that way.

Get a real good body/personal trimmer. They're designed not to pull anything and most good brands are fully waterproof and can be used in the shower.

(And by good I mean good, not most expensive, looking at you Manscaped!)

(...although in fairness, some of their after products are kinda cool)

Also if you're going clean shaved, use hair conditioner. Softens hair and looks after the skin very well for shaving.

Then add a little dust of cinnamon on the ol' gooch and you're ready for the opera, my dude.

Ha ha ha very small gas explosion made me chuckle.

Look forward to seeing some updated pics when you've had a lil trim up.

For what it's worth I don't mind au natural (prob in minority on here) but I do prefer not to get a soaking wet bush of pubes in my face when giving sloppy head so it does have it's benefits to be trimmed.

I pluck ball and base of shaft and then use a beard trimmer to reduce the length around.

Plucking is a bit time consuming

I have been deliciously smooth there (and elsewhere) for many years … it feels soooo lovely when freshly shaved.

Only very occasionally do I ever suffer with itching, but I keep myself smooth every few days ‘down there’.

I have never used ‘creams’ etc, … I’ve read the horror stories!!! My preferred method being a Gillette (ladies) razor, with, if needed hair conditioner as a ‘shaving gel’. I note of late, Gillette are now marketing a Venus blade specifically for pubic hair - but suspect this to be perhaps a marketing gimmick - the usual blades work perfectly well.

Off for a shower and a quick flick round with the Venus now xx

I usually just use a standard razor, and then every now and then use veet. Much prefer to be totally smooth

Updated pics! I admire your forwardness, I must admit. I'll see what I can do, but it keep it to yourself or everyone will want one.

I don't know that you're in THAT much of a minority tbh, I think most people that are into hairy men wouldn't take issue with a nether-afro particularly. And people that DON'T like hairy men are going to nope up long before they even get to the navel, the pubic pelt would be the least of their worries.

Trip with scissors and then use the some clippers.

Don’t be fooled by the marketing around the Manscaped stuff. Although if you want trimmed may be ok, it definitely isn’t any good for going smooth, you have to use the guard otherwise it’s a bit lethal.

The normal Wahl I use for my beard is much better at a close crop.

Although I use a razor front, under and behind. Never gets itchy as I keep it bald every time I shower.

I think if I went completely smooth with this much body hair, my old chap would look like Telly Savalas in a hedge trying to put the Mitchell brothers in a headlock.
