In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

Not really a singing one though, sorry.

Not sure if it's a lullaby but my grandma sang it to me and I sang it to my son

Rock a by baby on a tree top

When the wind blows the cradle will rock

Can't remember the rest lol

Very nice. I like this and a few others. Thanks everyone. The thing is, my usual pattern is being able to go to sleep easily but wake up rather early. Something happened in tne last week or so and going to sleep has become a real struggle and still get up early meaning not enough sleep. Hopefully it will pass.

So rock a bye, rock a bye,

Nothing to fear,

For rock a bye, rock a bye,

Mother* is near,

For angels of slumber are hovering near,

So rock a bye baby,

Mother* is here.

*Can be substituted for other relatives. I believe the original might even have been Jesus. But it was my Granny who sang it, so I couldn't say for sure.

There’s always the option of Luke Evans’, Sleep sound - Which I keep see being advertised.

He apparently can fall asleep ‘on a chickens lip’ (what a curious phrase)

My Grandparents sang a lot of old poems and songs to us. This was clearly highlighted by me singing two songs from the 19th century, aboard the Cutty Sark a few weeks back! There's a preprogrammed piano playing music of the day. I amused some Chinese tourists anyway
