I used to travel a long way for my meets, but these days rarely travel outside of the West Midlands unless I find someone exceptionally attractive - a bit of a shame really as more and more often I'm noticing all the REALLY attractive people seem to be around the coast.

As a rule of thumb anyone within a 250 light year radius, although I will exceed that for the right people...

I once travelled 300miles to meet a woman - as I was leaving, she kissed me and thanked me profusely, for the best 20 seconds of her life..!!

"how far would you travel for a meet? just down the road or further afield if they were worth it? and whats the furthest you have travelled? "

For a lot of people it is affected by location. In the north east and the midlands there are a lot of swingers and a lot of clubs so you rarely have to travel more than 40 or 50 miles.

North of The Wall - youll need your vest

Specifically to meet, Ive been down to Kent for socials and London to stay with my most gorgeous friend

Ive visited other people further afield, but only when Ive been in that neck of the woods anyway.

For the right person I would probably be willing to travel a reasonable distance if I'm honest, probably up to around 2.5 hours.

For normal meets I would say about an hour... We have travelled up to the midlands for a social before... And as we have family up there we would travel that far and kill 2 birds with one stone

The very first meet we ever had the man had travelled for three and a half hours....just before we were about to meet I thought I am going to feel really guilty if I ( Mrs ) don't fancy him in real life and have to pull the plug on the meet.

Happily everything was ok and our introduction to MFM was a great success.....but just incase we ever have to pull out of a meet we only meet local(ish) now instead.

206 miles. 5 hours there by train, and 7 hours back the next day (fecking rail replacement bus!) £200 in travel and hotel! Fortunately, it was a good meet, so it was time and money well spent.

But if there is a long journey involved, it's deffo gonna be ME doing it - that way if I don't find him attractive, the only time I've wasted is my own

One hour and no more, I don't meet anyone over that either as I don't think it's fair for someone to travel a distance that I cannot, shame as I've had to turn down some lovely ones and been blocked by some but begging me really isn't an attractive trait

When I was meeting with HotRuby, one guy came 247 miles down to us - and he's still our friend and she's going up to see him again in a few weeks. And pretty soon I will be travelling about 239 miles in the opposite direction to meet 'a lady'...

Have no qualms about it - it's all down to doing your homework PROPERLY and doing all you can to ensure that there is a spark between you long before you lay out cash on hotels and train tickets.

I look at it that it's a weekend away... with some very nice additional benefits...
