Does depend on your Avon lady really. had one call at our door 20+ years ago who I would happily have invited in and 'shown her my etchings'.., but the ex wouldn't have been to happy...

But, the one the ex bought her Avon from years later, well..... Two bottles of Scotch and two triple thickness carrier bags over her head wouldn't have convinced me it was a 'deed worth doing'...
